Anti-Semitisim

Anti-SemitismKings, pharaohs, generals, fuehrers, Moslem extremists, and more have tried to exterminate the Jews for millennia. The Bible predicts the persecution of both Jews and Christians in many Scriptural references, with an intensification in the “end-times.” The Arab world fans the flames of anti-Semitism, as well as much of Europe and even Canada.

It has become more obvious in America with the push for a Palestinian state. Many, though certainly not all, who are pushing in America for a Palestinian state, and particularly on U.S. campuses, have anti-Semitic sentiment.

Antisemitism in 2015: A Year in Review!

Within a week of the start of 2015, terrorism hit France in what became the worst terror attack in decades, claiming 17 lives. Eleven month later, in some sort of an erie xenophobic bookend, France was hit again, this time losing 130 innocent people. As I see the fabric of our global village changing daily, especially with the recent migrant crisis in Europe, I am greatly concerned with the fate of my people and of Israel. 2015 was packed with events, incidents and tragedies affecting Jewish people globally, yet, for the most part, the world kept going, trying to convince us that global warming is our biggest enemy. Of course, if by global warming you mean a nuclear meltdown instigated by Iran, then I guess IT IS our biggest problem! But there is much more. Let us take a quick look at antisemitism in 2015.

CNN's Ashleigh Banfield Compares ISIS to Jews

And Ashleigh, before you ignorantly say that Israel is the Jewish version of ISIS, let me remind you that Israel has given back to Arabs more territory (after winning them when attacked by Arabs) than the total of her present landmass. Israel, since 1948, has offered peace treaty after peace treaty to the Arab nations. From the ashes of the Holocaust, this evil world had a moment of sanity where they allowed the Jews who were not murdered by the Nazis to establish their own country on their historic homeland—which had been under British control, not Arab.

French Jews Fleeing to Israel in Record Numbers

It is a problem that has long been in the making, but the marked increase in anti-Semitic attacks, which goes hand in hand with the rise of Islam across Europe, has finally made life untenable for France's Jewish community. Now, French Jews are immigrating to Israel in record numbers.

Have We Learned Anything From Kristallnacht?

77 years ago during the night of November 9-10, 1938, Jewish people, businesses and synagogues suffered greatly throughout Nazi Germany and parts of Austria and Czechoslovakia. This ominous night continues to be remembered as Kristallnacht or "the Night of Broken Glass". It consisted of a series of pogroms (organized riots) against Jewish communities during which 267 synagogues and 7,000 Jewish businesses were destroyed. It also resulted in 91 Jewish people being killed. Additionally, 30,000 Jews were arrested and sent to concentration camps. Joseph Goebbels orchestrated the whole thing. Reputable historians see Kristallnacht as the inception of the "Final Solution to the Jewish Problem" that is the Holocaust.

Is a France Without Jews Possible?

I could obviously add a lot more to this somber list but these will suffice to make my point. France has a long reputation of anti-Semitism. The whole gamut of anti-Semitism is actually represented there from theological anti-Judaism to racial anti-Semitism to the new anti-Semitism, culminating in the current wave that I call End-Times anti-Semitism.

It was in 1953, only eight years after the close of World War Two that Yom HaShoah became an official national memorial day in Israel. Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion established that day as a yearly memorial of the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust. Since then, every year and all over the world, Jewish people remember the Shoah or "Catastrophe" as they perpetuate the memory of their lost, loved ones. In Israel, on that day, a minute of silent reflection is observed at 10:00 AM as a siren is heard all over the country. It isn't unusual to even see motorists stop in the middle of the road and get out of their cars to observe that solemn moment.

While all hatred of other peoples is wrong and downright sickening, there is something different about the hatred of the Jews.

I believe it is demonically driven. The jealousy, anger, venom, and sustained hate directed at these people is unprecedented. I believe many in the Islamic world look at the success of the Jews and the tiny nation of Israel in particular with such a jealous rage because of Israel's prosperity.
