Kings, pharaohs, generals, fuehrers, Moslem extremists, and more have tried to exterminate the Jews for millennia. The Bible predicts the persecution of both Jews and Christians in many Scriptural references, with an intensification in the “end-times.” The Arab world fans the flames of anti-Semitism, as well as much of Europe and even Canada.
It has become more obvious in America with the push for a Palestinian state. Many, though certainly not all, who are pushing in America for a Palestinian state, and particularly on U.S. campuses, have anti-Semitic sentiment.

More global anti-Semitic incidents reported in 2009 than any year since WWII
Nearly half of Western European believe that Jews exploit the persecution of their past as a method of extorting money, according to an annual Jewish Agency report released on Sunday.
A joint report on anti-Semitism conducted by the Agency and the Ministry of Diaspora Affairs found that 42 percent of those polled by the University of Bielefeld in Germany agreed that “Jews exploit the past to extort money.”

No Anti-Semitism in France?
Jacques Attali, President of an NGO promoting microfinance PlaNet Finance and former adviser to the late socialist President François Mitterrand, is on the record denying that anti-Semitism exists in France. Said Attali to Haaretz:
It is a problem which does not exist … Bu****it, peanuts, lies … I think it is propaganda, Israeli propaganda … Zero! None whatsoever. It’s a lie.”
The Algiers-born Attali also denied “a problem of anti-Semitism among the Muslim community in France.” He added:

Blood libels against Jews have been with us from time immemorial. Last week, one occurred in a Swedish tabloid, Aftonbladet, where it was falsely claimed that Israeli troops were murdering Palestinians and harvesting their organs. Rejecting Israeli calls for official condemnation, Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt retorted that freedom of expression had to be protected and that he lacked time to edit “all strange debate contributions [emphasis added].”

Anti-Semitic incidents in Britain rise to record – July 24
Britain has seen an unprecedented number of anti-Semitic “hate crimes”, with more incidents recorded so far in 2009 than in any previous entire year, a Jewish advisory body said on Friday.
Up to the end of June, there were 609 anti-Semitic incidents ranging from verbal abuse to extreme violence, compared with 276 in the same period last year.

Virulent new strain of anti-Semitism rife in UK, says Chief Rabbi
Britain is in the grip of a “virulent” new strain of anti-Semitism, according to the Chief Rabbi. Sir Jonathan Sacks told The Times in an interview that in January the number of anti-Semitic incidents reached the highest level since records began.
Jews have been physically attacked, schools targeted and cemeteries desecrated.

WWW or KKK? Wiesenthal Center reports hike in ‘online hate’ – Jerusalem Post – June 17
“I could have wiped out all the Jews in the world, but I left a few of them so that you would understand why I would have destroyed them,” reads the Arabic text on a Facebook group page praising Adolf Hitler.
A shadowy portrait of the Nazi leader stands off to the side, and at the bottom of the page “Hitler” is scrawled in English, in a font reminiscent of a Disney advertisement, as if the group were discussing Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck and not a genocidal dictator.
This example of online hate is just a sample of similar content revealed in a new report from the Simon Wiesenthal Center titled “Facebook, YouTube and How Social Media Outlets Impact Digital Terrorism and Hate,” which details the size and scope of Internet hate and terror sites in 2009 and was presented to Foreign Ministry officials on Monday.
