As many Americans are aware, radio and television personality Glenn Beck hosted his “Restoring Honor” rally at the Capitol Mall in Washington, D.C., on Aug. 28. Leading up to the event, the establishment press was in top form, giving face time aplenty to Rev. Al Sharpton (who organized a counter-rally nearby) and prominent progressives, who had branded the event as a racist one – as prophylaxis, I can only surmise, since it had not yet occurred.
