Daniel 11:5 says that the “King of the South”, the Arabs,
“will grow strong.” They have since the term “petrol politics”
became so important. The Bible said that the Arab’s “hand
would be against everyone” and that he would be as a “wild
donkey” (Gen. 16:12). But God promised to multiply the descendents
of the Arabs (Genesis 16:10), and bless them. He planted their
tents on the oil wells of the earth! But the 22 nations surrounding
Israel are determined to exterminate her.
Ground Zero Mosque: It’s The Sharia, Stupid – Human Events – August 30
The Ground Zero mosque controversy focuses excessively on that proposed venue’s proximity to the scene of the September 11 massacre. The Park 51 Islamic center would stand 560 feet from that revered site. Would moving it 5,600 feet away calm this storm?
Far more important is what would happen inside this mosque. That should determine if it should be even closer to Ground Zero, or if it even should open anywhere in America.

Saudi Columnist: ‘There Is No Islam without Jihad’
Anas Zahed, a columnist for the Saudi government daily Al-Madina, criticized Arab and Muslim intellectuals who limit the term jihad to a personal, spiritual struggle and reject its interpretation as waging war against occupation, which he said is its principle meaning.
Following are excerpts:
“Islam without jihad is the product of colonialism and is in no way connected to the Islam of Muhammad. Without question, the greatest jihad is personal jihad, and therein lies the proof that the term jihad in Islam is not limited [solely] to waging war… [But] this does not mean that the term jihad does not include many other aspects, among them those which relate to the individual’s responsibilities to society, and the relations of the [Muslim] society and ummah with societies and countries that declare war on a Muslim state.

How Islamists Came to Dominate European Islam – Pipes
The 7/7 bombings in London, in which Islamists killed 52 and injured 700, prompted British authorities to work with Muslims to avoid future violence.
However, rather than turn to anti-Islamist Muslims who reject the triumphalist goal of applying Islamic law in Europe, they promoted non-violent Islamists, hoping these would persuade coreligionists to express their hatred of the West in lawful ways. This effort featured Tariq Ramadan (b. 1962), a prominent Islamist intellectual. For example, London’s Metropolitan Police partially funded a conference that Ramadan addressed, and Prime Minister Tony Blair appointed him to an official “working group on tackling extremism.”
